About the Junior Fire Co.

The Rocky Point Fire Dept. Junior Fire Co. provides the youth of Rocky Point & Shoreham ages 13 - 17 the opportunity to experience what it is like to be a member of a volunteer fire department. Through exposure to the different activities, training's and social aspects.

Membership in Rocky Point Junior Fire Co. has many benefits for young men & women ages 13 - 17

1. Training - The Junior Fire Co. trains on 1st & 3rd Sat. of each month at 6pm at Sta. #3,they receive hands on training on Hose Handling,Ladders,Vehicle Extrication, Water Rescue, First Aid, CPR.

2. Activities - Junior Fire Co. members are issued uniforms. The uniform consists  of Shirt,Badge & Hat. The Juniors participate in most uniformed activities that the department attends, including parades and the annual Installation Dinner.

Joining the Rocky Point Junior Fire Company

Membership in the juniors is open to anyone age 13 - 17 and residency in Rocky Point, Shoreham, Inc. Village of Shoreham. Meetings and Training's are held on the 1st & 3rd Sat..of the month at the Training area rear of Shoreham Fire House Co.3 at 6:00pm . Stop by and talk to a Junior Fire Co. Coordinator's.
